City of Alhambra’s Peeps and Pedals – Welcoming Spring: The event includes live entertainment, inflatable bounce houses, crafts, photo booth, a bike rodeo, and a petting zoo, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Explore Alhambra Police Department and Alhambra Fire Department vehicles and equipment in the event’s “Pedal Power Pavilion.” Free admission. Calvary Chapel North Long Beach – Easter Egg Hunt: The church hosts a community event that includes jumpers, face painting and egg hunt for children, 9 a.m.-noon. (see details on the link). Spring Equinox – Chatsworth Nature Preserve: The LADWP presents the event that begins with a Native American blessing ceremony, followed by guided nature hikes, live animal exhibitions, interactive storytelling and community and environmental resource information, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. What not to bring: dogs, cigarettes of any kind, bikes or scooters, drones. Spring Fling, an Egg-ceptional Celebration – Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden: Event includes an egg run, games, crafts and music, 5-8 p.m. Details on the website. City of Gardena hosts Bunny Brunch Buffet and Egg Hunt: The breakfast is at 8:30-11 a.m. Crafts and an Easter egg hunt, ages 12 and younger. Egg hunt, 11 a.m. (children need to ring a basket). Egg Hunt in the Heights – Long Beach: Belmont Heights Community Association, in partnership with the Port of Long Beach, present the event that has has more than 4,000 eggs hidden, 9 a.m.sharp. Underwater Eggstravaganza – El Segundo: Dive into some fun and catch floating eggs at the annual event, 1:30 to 3 p.m. The event will also feature music, candy and prizes.
